MSI Electric City

MSI Electric City is a virtual reality sci-fi seated experience where you are transported to a futuristic city never seen before. Discover magnificent scenery and soar through wondrous architectures.

Gadgeteer

Gadgeteer is a physics-based VR puzzle game where you build chain reaction machines to solve fun, intricate puzzles. Your machines will use gadgets to launch, bump, twist, and turn—creating chain reactions that may even end up tearing apart the fabric of space-time.

Prepare your wits because you'll need them to build your masterpiece!

Lyra

Lyra is a playground for musicians to experiment in without real world limitations.

Build fantastical music sequences with your bare hands, creating visual symphonies that you can fully immerse into. For the first time ever, jump into the music you've created and experience your masterpiece in a spectacular audio, visual sensory orchestra.

About us

We specialize in VR design

Metanaut is a small award-winning team of virtual reality enthusiasts who are passionate about building a better future. Our focus is to develop fun and valuable VR apps and games that are exceptional in design.

We are one of the first VR studios in Vancouver, and have won some of the world’s largest VR competitions. We were also in the first batch of VR studios in the world’s largest VR accelerator program. Our game Gadgeteer was listed as one of the most anticipated games of 2019 by PCGamer and we were chosen to receive the world’s largest AR grant program from Magic Leap. In 2020, Gadgeteer made Forbes’ Top 50 VR Games of 2019.

We have backgrounds in industrial design and engineering which helps us to apply proven real world design principles to unfamiliar virtual worlds. Some of our projects come from distinguished clients, but most of them are our own.

We split our time between the metaverse and Vancouver, British Columbia.
